Port Adelaide's tally must be wrong from everything I have read...

Bit hard to deny Port IF you are dinkum - the OP appears to be unable to distinguish a local comp with some of the best players in it to a national comp with ALL the best players.
Sad really ... the national parliament was in Melbourne once, it moved on.

Kwality, it's not the OPs list, it's the AFLs list

I'm just here for the Port and Westcoast supporter melts, and it's delivered already!

Be nice if we reverted to pre 1930 rules where the minor premiers get to challenge the winner if they don’t win the premiership. That would spice things up. Go for it Port 👍

Can you post this list please?
Can you tell me a start point for what we are considering to be the path of the AFL to now?

For example, I don't think it's appropriate for two clubs to have both won what will be considered an AFL premiership in the same year because they existed in different leagues, at least one of those leagues and the cups in them can't count.

Essendons first flag was awarded from finishing top of the ladder.
Dont think we should strip it from them because that was the system in place at the time, just thought its interesting.
