Hey everyone,
Thought I'd have a go at an alternate history sort of portfolio, obviously first things first I recently started a portfolio on the South East FNL , a portfolio to test my template. It's about 35% complete and I will continue to work on it but I wanted to start this one. Basically a portfolio full of what if's. As most of you are aware only a few teams had clash jumpers in 2006 with a large portion of clash jumpers coming into practise in 2007 and beyond.
In 2006, the AFL declared all 16 teams must have a home and clash jumper with a few clubs requested to have a third jumper to avoid jumper clashes.
At the end of Melbourne decided to relocate after they were struggling to attract fans and members despite having a half decent team. It was made official as of November 2005 that Melbourne would relocate to Melbourne's South East at Holm Park Beaconsfield. The club would be known as the South East Demons.
The portfolio will work so that every team will have the sponsors they had at the time along with their club logos unless I decide to change some to my own design. Obviously during this period GWS Giants and Gold Coast didn't exist. But obviously large talks during the time had North Melbourne planning to locate to the Gold Coast. Whether the relocation happened or not will be decided in this portfolio
Basically I just wanna perfect the league in 2006 and put in good designs before they get ruined by shitty clash jumpers like the piss stain.
What if North Melbourne became the Gold Coast Kangaroos?
What if Port Adelaide and Fremantle never rebranded?
Imagine if Tasmania was granted a team?
2006 Season home jumpers, cheers Mero for reference.
2006 clubs:
Adelaide Crows
Brisbane Lions
Carlton Blues
Collingwood Magpies
Essendon Bombers
Fremantle Dockers
Geelong Cats
Hobart Devils
Hawthorn Hawks
Darwin Crocs
South East Demons
Gold Coast Kangaroos
Port Adelaide Power
Richmond Tigers
St Kilda Saints
Sydney Swans
West Coast Eagles
Western Bulldogs
First club up will be the Adelaide Crows who are manufactured by Adidas.
