Will the appointment of a resident West Aussie as an AFL Commissioner see a change in the current AFL attitude to WA footy?

Specifically:
Will the AFL desist in promoting reserves sides in the WAFL for Eagles & the Dockers?
Will the AFL stop trying to have the WAFC give up its ownership of the AFL clubs?

Its an issue for WA footy, for WA footy fans, not some Melbourne centric agenda that remains unstated.

Under this proposal, wouldn't the WAFL teams just play their B grade when playing the Eagles and Dockers or are they going to make the cash incentives so vast that that the Wafl clubs would want to field their best sides?

I really don't see this working very well.
