I want a program where you can edit the fixture, put scores in and it will calculate the ladder automatically for you.

A bit like allthestats.com ladder predictor, but you can actually edit the fixture.
The ladder calculator must be pre programed as well. :)

Been looking for ages for one but can't find one.

Someone try this, it's fairly simplistic, but I'm curious to see if and how it works for other people.

That's pretty good for predicting the results, it updates really well. Do you actually use that software to work out the all time ladder and the rest of the ladders on your site?
Also, how do you change the fixture?

Sure. Just open up the "default" file that goes with the program with a text editor.
Each line represents a game:
1:3:104:14:84:5:20110324
Round:Team 1 ID:Team 1 score:Team 2 ID:Team 2 score:Venue ID: Date (yyyymmdd)

Any game not yet played requires both scores to be set to -1.

Team IDs are
1=Adelaide
2=Brisbane Bears
3=Carlton
4=Collingwood
5=Essendon
6=Fitzroy
7=Western Bulldogs
8=Fremantle
9=Geelong
10=Hawthorn
11=Melbourne
12=North Melbourne
13=Port Adelaide
14=Richmond
15=St Kilda
16=Sydney
17=University
18=West Coast
19=Brisbane Lions
20=Gold Coast
21=GWS

The venue and date aren't used. If you are going to include GWS, you'll need this version. Since it was quick job, chances are that fiddling about too much may break it.

Woah, that is a lot of work. I'll try it then. So you created the whole 2011 fixture using that?

Also for your site, how do you know if a record has been broken or not?

Also it breaks when you add Round 25. :)

Woah, that is a lot of work.
Told ya :p

So you created the whole 2011 fixture using that?
No, that's merely a program I made in response to your request. When the draw was released, I parsed it from a webpage into a more useful form, which was used to generate the draw that went with that program.

Also for your site, how do you know if a record has been broken or not?

I don't. Data goes in, data comes out, data gets uploaded. The majority of it I never (or rarely) see.

There's no 2012 fixture yet, what is it exactly you're trying to do?

Well trying to create a ladder out of Footy Fanatic FX, just playing around.

Do you have any idea on how to edit the fixture for Footy Fanatic FX?

The data gets uploaded? To where abouts and how?
