It's a possibility that the SANFL side makes finals, but due to the AFL side not making finals, there are some restrictions.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE AFL SIDE ARE NOT IN AFL FINALS?

The AFL listed player has to play more SANFL than AFL and also play 3 games after June 30. The SANFL would also give special injury allowances for some players. AFL listed player cap is 17. SANFL listed players qualify after 1 game.

There's one Ammo team that has for the 2nd year in a row started to stack its 'C' grade side with players from higher levels late in the year, when it became clear that the higher sides weren't going to play finals.

Do we really care anyway. 2 weeks time everyone will switch off, exit intervews and delistings begin.. Most will be planning Bali holidays or looking for alternate employment.

Yeah to get them qualified. What im saying is, obviously if the power dont make finals, but the magpies do, you can't just put MG, Butters etc into the team from finals onwards
