All the good will in the world will never win you a football game and the competition in Mackay could do with a boost in interest but in my humble opinion the introduction of Andergrove wont do it.
We dont need another homeless club meandering along without a support base or any player depth...you will be on a hiding to nothing.
Having said that my biggest concern is where will they play ?The Bucasia ground is unplayable with a terribly sub-standard surface and lack of facilities that saw the demise of the Northern Beaches Hawks[Mackay City]and the exciting but ill fated breakaway team the Northern Lions.
Pie in the Sky stuff....be warned Roos..talking about over a few beers wont help towards the end of a long season when you are on the receiving end of another flogging.

Andegrove Seniors & Juniors is all one club, our supporter base will be as big as evry other club ifnot bigger.

Agree the ground needs work, its been levelled out with sound and the soccer club recently extended its clubrooms which are passable.
Roo's will play 1st 4 home games at Harrop Park plus a few night games which give enough time to get Bucasia upto scracth.

Andergrove having a Senior team has been in the making for the past five years, the clubs planning and future vision was the main reason it took on the coaching role.

The point is i guess if the League doesn't expand/change it will shiver up and die eventually.

If it was held on Saturday pretty bloody miserable...we had aroud 100mls of torrential rain.
