AFL Match Centre 2009 - won't load

Hey all, for some reason when I try to access "Match Centre 2009" it won't load properly.

I get the front page, with the Natural Blonde ad, and the little circle which says "loading content", quickly counts up to 100%, and from there nothing happens.

I recently bought a new pc, and have reinstalled Adobe Flash player to the most current version. I'm assuming that there must be some setting somewhere, probably in my browser, that is stopping this flash applet from working correctly.

I'm not having any other problems with flash player. (That I'm aware of).

Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?

Pretty sure it is Java. Try getting the newest version of that

Thanks for the suggestion, I downloaded and installed Java (and verified it was working correctly), but it has not fixed the problem.

Any other ideas?

I've got the same problem. Happens when I try to load the Foxtel TV guide online as well.

Hmmm, interesting.

Foxtel guide is working fine for me. Match Centre is working in Firefox, but not in Internet Explorer (which I prefer). So it must be a problem with IE.

I notice that when I access the site in Firefox, the little Java "coffee cup" icon appears in my system tray, but it does not appear when I use IE to access that page. The strange thing is that Java works fine on other pages in IE.

This is quite annoying.

Match Centre now works fine for me in both browsers. I have no idea why, but am happy now.

Maybe AFL website people did something. Check back and see if it works for you now rizzo.
