I'll spew if we take Toner. Alger has outperformed him at VFL level, is the same type of player and is younger. Don't need two of that type on the list. Did we forget about Alger's BOG performance in Round 1? It was as good a game as Toner's one performance that has everyone wanking over him.

Watching the VFL, Lowther is a natural marking player., the ball never leaves his hands once it hits them. They are few and far between. Good size, good mover for his size 199cm, and just 19 years old. The VFL is hard to show your true form as a forward sometimes, like last week the wind was blowing a gale. He looks to have a bit of promise and one to watch in the next few weeks. Invested a lot in forwards in the draft, but Lowther is a natural marker, besides Sims the others aren't. Free hit.

Having said that, Higgins Hargraves looks a natural classy footballer, you can't have to many of them. Our scouts are surely in full scout mode right now.

Some are out of action with stress-related injuries. 4-6 weeks

Toner is more athletic than Alger, slightly taller, but doesn’t quite have the same skillset. Both could play in the same team.

He’d be a great back-up option at the least but i think he could slot into the 3rd tall role allowing Brown/Trainor to play more the 4/5 roles.

Spot on 100% agree plus he is a selfish player and wouldn't play team best football
