Really nice attempt, some impressive work there!

I think Gresham and Clarke would be great fits for us at those picks. Would personally like to see us take Burton as well but I wouldn't be disappointed with Milera.

I'm close friends with Tommy Coles family as well and I'm really confident whoever picks him up will be onto a winner. Would be a great get for you guys.
Thanks, yeah I think Tommy Cole is going to be a really solid player. The 3 successful VFL games he played this year probably confirmed that for many recruiters too.

Any idea who North have interest in/ have spoken to? Assume the likes of Clarke, McKay and Balic are all in their thinking, but anyone else of note to watch? Genuine interest in Cunningham or just speculation?
I personally haven't heard anything you probably haven't, but with 4 picks that will likely fall between 21-41, we can assume they have comprehensively covered all bases to find their ideal suitors.

Do you think Clayton Oliver at pick 7 is a tad high?
Nah, he's a definite top 10 in my opinion. But if Melbourne take Curnow at 3 then I think Essendon probably goes Parish & Weideman with Oliver going to Gold Coast or Melbourne's next pick.

Do you have insider mail on the bombers selections?
Not the early ones. It's been reported that they've followed Rioli for a long time. One you might not have heard about, Bruno Laguda, half back from the Calder Cannons as a possible late or rookie pick. Best and fairest at the Cannons & best player in the losing side during the Herald Sun Shield final against St Pats.

Would love Greg Clark with our 2nd pick. Snoop Dog also has us taking him there. Do you suspect we are actually looking at him or just a guess?

If you get Clark and Ah Chee

I love all the players you have drafted for the Lions if it goes this way I will be very happy
Yeah it's a pretty safe draft for Brisbane fans. You know what you're getting at the top end, Shache, Hipwood and Keays all look like they have very bright futures. Some later academy picks could turn out well too like Wagner and Chol.

As published on my blog site aflmockdraft.wordpress.com here is my Top 50 AFL Mock Draft. It has taken into account all of the academy and father-son pick movement. New to bigfooty but I work in the TAC Cup and watch as many games as I can each season including the national championships. I also have knowledge of who many of the players have met with and I have a strong interest in recruiting. I will have 1 more update before the draft next week and look forward to the discussion around this mock draft.

first round looks pretty good!

My final update is up on the 1st page. Please let me know your thoughts. Happy drafting everyone! :thumbsu:

Great work DM. Although I think the Dees would take Francis over Curnow given their recent interest should he slip to 7. Despite Melbourne's need of another KPF

While I appreciate how hard it is to forecast the later rounds, I don't think the Dogs will be looking for smaller types later in the draft. We've been linked to a series of big bodied types through reliable posters on the Dogs board, so our 3rd and 4th selections will probably differ from your suggestions.

Yeah could happen. I just thought for a team that needs another strong forward option, Curnow would be too good to pass up.

Crows won't take Milera and Gresham. They need talls. Will take a tall and a mid.
