Well it was the result most would have expected against the nepo babies, though for a long stretch we stuck with them and at least showed some competitive spirit. A bit frustrating to finish with more scoring shots - In the end it was our poor conversion and lack of class and experience that ultimately let us down.

Nas, Steele and Sinclair were our best, while Wilkie kept King statless until the game was over, and Sharman was once again our most dangerous forward. Owens was busy but misfired, he finished with 2 goals but could have easily had 4 or 5. Our midfield looked a bit more composed with some experience returning in Clark and Jones who didn't do much wrong.
Nice to see good games from the kids - Trav was impressive, as were Keeler and Caminiti around the ground. The Box did some impressive things in his limited gametime as the sub. Good to see Pou back and building nicely as well.

Marshall looked to hurt his knee early and seemed to lack his usual mobility, while Higgins and Wood were quiet, which was always going to make it challenging to kick a winning score. Hopefully Marshall and Hall pull up alright.

We play Melbourne next Sunday in Alice Springs so... who knows what to expect from that one!

Timing can say alot about a statement. Ross' timing was ****ing terrible. It was a petty and childish comment in a pre game and Dimmas response potting our crowd and record absolutely skewered us. Seeing it any other way is just saints bias.

Ross and co can talk all the shit they want, we remain a club that has *ed up so much that everyone else will just point those * ups out when we complain about the inequality. If we did do Seaford, if we didnt shit the draft, if we didnt etc etc.

Fair, dont agree though. TdK means we cant target actual needs and were still pretty unsure on most of the kids.

If King gets his body right (doubtful) and Tauru and Barrett come on to bridge the gap a bit then our list might not be too horrible and maybe we just need a star mid or a game breaking HF but we wont be able to pursue them cause TdK is ****ing the cap.

I think your last statement is on the TdK thing more than this and youre right, i dont know, but nor does anyone. My opinion is a team in 14th with maybe one or two genuine a grade players offering 10% of the cap to one guy who isnt even needed considering Roma is a very good ruckman.

Do you not think for a second that it makes the job he needs to do significantly harder?

In a different era, he would think - shit season had to play a number of kids as injury stuffed us. But let’s look forward to a top kid coming through.

Now the above occurs and he has pick 5 and says, well the club currently 3rd gets the best kid in the draft. The club currently second gets the 3rd best kid in the draft and the club top gets a top 15 player as father son and the swans sitting a spot behind us get another 3 academy kids sitting in the top 15 - ALL BEFORE WE GET A SINGLE PICK.

The suns also likely get a second top 10 pick aswell.

He has been entirely fair. Call it out it’s all Bs.
