Any of you Pie supporters been into the Lexus Centre to get the new AFL Numbers printed on your tops? How does it look? How much does it cost?

The reason i ask is because i brought a Tiges top and the ladie at the Tiger Den said if i want an offical AFL number i would have to go over to the Lexus Centre to get it done because they have the print.

Cheers

As I got older, I have stayed away from numbers on my back. I don't idolise them the way I used to :p. I know stick to polo's.

My newest guernsey doesn't have a number on it, however, I don't wear it, so I just may get Shawry's number put on, then again, it may disappear in a couple of years (39 to ??), so I just may get a no.5, Buckley, and keep it as keepers.

On my first guernsey I had Saverio Rocca's number 36 on it. Then I changed guernsey's, and went to no.12 (Steve McKee, lmfao), 2 (Woewodin), 28 (Benny Kinnear, and it still remains!)

We forgot Guy Richards was on our list over the delsiting period???

Do you think they'd fall for that???

Fine I'll admit it. My first ever jumper had number 4 on it. For the Swans. But give me a break, I was only six years old. Besides, I dropped it after that hack Ben Matthews took it. And thereafter started my Collingwood dynasty

wow... i can't remember anyone else ever being number five but Bucks

Remember standing in the outer at Vic Park in the late 80s early nineties and watching big Ronnie McKeown in the number 5 guernsey.

Vividly remember that he used to dominate at full forward in the 2nds. The crowd at the Yarra Falls end would chant Ronnie..Ronnie whilst awaiting the main game.

Pretty handy player Ronnie, either fwd or back. Would be a handy swing man these days although his body shape (think Lance Whitnell mould) prob would not be suited to todays game. Pretty stiff to miss out on being a Premiership player in 1990.

Ronnie would have finished up in the early nineties prob a little before Bucks came to the club in 1994. I am thinking that Jason McCartney may have worn number 5 for a couple of seasons whilst he was at the Pies, between McKeown finishing and Bucks arriving.

Any clarification??
