Probably my favourite statistical measure, so I’m making two threads in one day. I warned you Proper Gander you’ve unleashed a beast.

MFC rankings for 2021 games alone after six rounds:
  1. Gawn is the highest ranked ruckman (5th overall)
  2. Oliver is the ninth ranked midfielder (17th overall)
  3. Lever is the second ranked key defender (36th overall)
  4. Salem is the third ranked general defender (47th overall)
  5. Petracca is 53rd overall, doesn’t appear in top 15 midfielders
  6. Pickett is the fourth ranked general forward (54th overall)
  7. Langdon is the second ranked wing (79th overall)
  8. ANB is the eighth ranked general forward (97th overall)
  9. McDonald is the eleventh ranked key forward (154th overall)
  10. Jackson is the nineteenth ranked key forward (240th overall)
Other points of interest:
  • Kosi ranks number one from his draft, and fifth overall from players drafted between 2016-2020
  • Oliver, Salem, Lever and obviously Gawn all top five from their drafts
  • Luke Jackson played a career best game in R6
In overall ratings (all players over last forty rounds) we have:
  1. Gawn (2nd)
  2. Trac (8th)
  3. Oliver (10th)
  4. Viney (43rd)
  5. Brayshaw (101st)
  6. Langdon (122nd)
  7. Salem (133rd)
  8. Lever (157th)
  9. Fritsch (168th)
  10. Harmes (183rd)
  11. May (194th)
A few of our players have really shot up. 2019 really hurting Lever, Fritsch, and May where they were injured/out of form/out of position. Lever in fact has risen 169 places since R1 this year.

Very flawed system, very favourable for inside mids, general forwards, and rucks, but there you go.

Brayshaw better than Langdon

This is the same dog sh*t measure that said Omac was a good defender. Then we delisted him.

Probably the worst of all ratings
Knew you’d enjoy this thread.

Mozzie and Slick with career best games today.

Kossie is the 2nd ranked general forward and Fritsch is 10th (for the season). 25th and 132nd overall respectively. Gawn, Salem and Lever all dropped 5-10 places. Oliver the 8th best mid and 15th overall.

Max scored about 2.5 this week - his 2 year average is 17.5, so was an appallingly poor game by his standards. Can’t remember seeing a discrepancy like that before in a completed game.

Goldstein matched his average (~14) and Jackson doubled his (~7).
