Whoever is criticizing Grundy after that performance needs their head checked. He was monumental and almost single handedly kept us from being mutilated tonight.

The problem was the blokes at his feet, plus the majority of our outside smalls. Guys like Sidebottom, (dare I say it) Pendlebury, Adams, Brown, WHE, Mayne, Mihocek and (after quarter time) Aish didn't offer a yelp.

Another question I have.. The Mayne goal that was overturned.

Was anyone at the game behind the goals that had a good view? The goal umpire called it a goal. The commentator said.. is it touched over the line? Maybe it was touched by the arm, but was the arm over the line? or before? The camera angle didn't show it, it was a front on view. Surely that was umpires call? no fingers bending back, how do they know it touched the arm? and how do they know it was before the line? Was there an angle I missed?

Clearly touched his arm well before line. Got no one to blame for loss but ourselves.
