Team is really starting to look good, should be at full fitness by round 4 when our draw "softens" a bit

Definitely much stronger than last week and with quite a bit of quality still to come back in. I just hope in the interim at least one or two of our younger guys do well enough to retain their positions in the team. Might be wishful thinking though.

Should Ugle have been an inclusion or is Beams going to play forward? Quite a few of us had him in the team but we appear to have misjudged where both he and the team are at.

Re: Collingwood v Richmond Round 2 Team changes

If you ever seen Clint Jones from St Kilda kick for goal you would argue with that statement.

Jones is a terrible set shot no doubt, but so is Lindsay Thomas. Thomas more so than Jones though is actually a pretty nice kick of the ball, he has a knack of weighting the ball beautifully when field kicking. Jones's kicking while unfashionable, is still generally reliable these days, far more so than Sinclair's. I guess it might support the argument that Sinclair's kicking can improve, because Jones's kicking is much better than it used to be.

Sinclair has a high, double handed ball drop that usually gets weeded out by the time kids hit 3rds football - not sure how it hasn't been addressed with Ben. It isn't just his kicking on its on though, he also completely lacks poise. He knows he is a terrible kick, and as soon as he starts carrying the ball he gets all flustered and confused, he is such an erratic footballer.

Worst kick in the league? cmon, Israel Folau is worst for sure, and there's just two names I've bought up, there would be multiple numbers of worst kicks in the AFL then Sinclair.

I haven't seen Folau kick it enough to make that conclusion. Issy has a decent record of set shots though in the lower leagues, and he has one massive strength over Sinclair in that he can roost it long and high, that's something Sinclair can't do. Issy always has a get out in his kicking, just boot it long down the line, Sinclair is a small half-forward, he needs to spot up targets, it's part of his job description.

There might be worse kicks than him on rookie lists or always playing VFL, but apart from maybe Issy (debatable in my opinion), I can't think of a worse kick getting a game in the AFL at the moment. Travis Coyler is pretty inconsistent, but even he can run into an open goal and kick it from 30 metres out.

Does Buckley have the same mindset as Malthouse When it comes to not tagging the best midfielders? Will Cotchin be allowed to run free?

Looks like it could be a slippery night after a day of intermittent rain, will this favor either team?

Cheers

I doubt Cotchin or Delidio will have a hard tag applied if playing mid.

However, who knows with buck!
