Opinion AFL Re-doing the theme songs

Simply shocking!! I had pretty dubious taste back in those days (I even owned a Peter Frampton album, I'm sorry to say), but I wasn't one of those responsible for sending that song to number one on the charts! Shame on you for posting such a thing!!

I went to see Frampton at the Myer Music Bowl.
He was naturally the headliner, on the back of the double live LP (incidentally, that LP was the reason we got the ELO classic double album “Out Of The Blue”) with Cold Chisel and Sherbet (then named Highway as they tried to crack America).
Jimmy tried to outscream the PA system.
Daryl made a Collingwood joke.
Peter played up to the pre teens.
I left half way through the Frampton set.
Sherbet were fantastic on the night. Frampton made a great lead guitarist for Bowie many years later.


P.S. as for Pussyfoot, let’s just say that some sheets were stained.

I have vague memories of this. Didn’t we add the line, ‘there’s just one team that we favour?’

Shouldn’t it be “hear” the barrackers are (a’)shouting? Makes more sense.

Was explained by Ed this morning that it's sung as if it's from the third person, a barracker singing about other barrackers.
