What Surly said.

I was very close to taking Adelaide at the line last week, given their history against us, the fact that it was Etihad, and that we're mucking around with our training loads while suffering from injuries (see: Jolly, MacAffer, Johnson, Brown, Brown) and missed time (see: Didak, Maxwell, Goldsack).

The main reason I didn't was that I felt like I needed to watch my club play a game without having money on it. Especially against my club. Certainly let me enjoy that 11-goal last term.

I think West Coast will push the Pies this week. Huge advantage in the ruck will nullify the Pies midfield dominance to some extent and I think West Coast's land of the giants forward line will worry the Pies defense and force guys like Harry O to have worry about his man more than he would like and nullify their run from defense. Have my queries on West Coast maintaining it for the whole game but I certainly like the HT line of +17.5 and even the West Coast/Collingwood HT-FT double at $7.20.

Something is telling me WC can win the grand final...is that as ridiculous as it seems?
I think they have done great (certainly surprised me) but let's not got ahead of ourselves. They are 5 and 3 (having played 5 home games) which means they only have 6 home games to come. They will need to win 4 away games to make the top 4, I doubt they can do that.
Whilst they have been competitive in their losses they are playing a tiring gameplan that I doubt their list can maintain for 24 rounds (plus finals). The only chance I give them to win this week is if COL do the same as last week and cruise for 3 quarters.

whats sucker betting?

its picking a bet because it has a high value, and losing your shirt...

value means nothing when collingwood win by 10 goals...

the bookies have been getting slammed by the pies every week this year... and there hasnt been any value in them...

None the wiser soho, maybe its the newbie thing.
The bookies apart from this week havent been smashed on the pies if thats what you talking about.

Round 10 sees me liking the Eagles at the line. Bulldogs a half a unit at the line. Freo to cover against the Saints.

I do think it's a decent bet, but their last bye was round 1, not sure it really can be relied on as a comparison.

Not the comparison im trying to use. The comparison i am going for is how they play against the really good teams.

They have come up against Carlton at the Gabba got beat by 119.

And came up against Essendon at Etihad and got beaten by 139.

They are coming up against one of the best teams in the comp who should be looking for a huge percentage boost here, hence why it should be a 100+ point drubbing.

My post was directed at X_box_X, who was trying to say that Gold Coast got smashed by 120+ after their last bye, which was in fact their first game, ever, so I don't think the comparison was valid.

Agree with what you said.

I'm loving the look of Freo and Port at the line.

Alas betting rules stipulate to not touch the games with either team - damn! :(

Blues will beat Dees.. theres a bit of pocket money for all
Swans and North 50/50
Geelong 1.03? looks short but with good reason - theyll win
Adelaide and Lions - Like Crows < 39.5
Collingwood first half line - to start strongly after Sunday's scare
Dogs line depending on ins. Pathetic Sunday but if they have any heart they will come out and have a crack - Hawks up and down.
