Cant see much value in head to head at all, Buddy out makes me nervous about backing the Hawks against a hurting bombers side, and can we rely on the Dees having a bit let down after last week again? How much has the last couple of weeks taken out of the Tigers?

essendon has decent record against hawthorn...buddy had kick 4-5 goals in the last few games against Essendon so he he does get suspended it wud be a huge loss....but then Hurley and Hocking could also miss out due to injuries

Hawks could be exposed this week without talls. Best two forwards out to be replaced by 3rd gamer Jordan Lilse. He can hold his own and has good support around him so that won't be a major issue. What will be is the backline. The club has played down Schoenmakers injury but I'm not so sure he'll be named. If he we won't have a defender over 190cm. If Essendon go all 3 rucks plus Hurley we could be in real strife.

Hawks will need to be exceptional in the middle because if the Bombers get alot of inside 50's we don't have much of a chance.

That said, if Hawthorn win Cyril would have kicked a bag. Might be worth taking him for most goals of the round for a roughy.

Not sure why Richmond are favourites against Melbourne. Putting aside bias, they normally do a number on us. I've always said the last year or so they're at least a year ahead in development, I still a believe that. Add on top of that Jamar should be back and opposition rucks normally tear us a new one. Also I never thought I'd say it but King out is a loss (kicked around 20 goals this year). Don't think I can bring myself to bet against us but can't see their logic there. Could see us losing and even losing big.

I agree melbourne seem to play alright at the G. Big wins against essendon, adelaide and fremantle.
