Annoyingly, the best game they've played in the last two months was against us, which was a response to playing poorly against Freo, but the big issue now is, despite their ugly win against the Dogs, and their worst game in 2 years against North, there was no response tonight, just really odd, perhaps Stephenson is the key to their success.

With less than a kick separating the teams the Hawks got an out on the full free kick inside their forward 50 and midfielder Ricky Henderson had the ball.
He took an eternity with it, milking the clock beyond belief but unbelievably the clock had stalled.
The Hawks star took up all the time he possibly could with the footy as the commentators went spare over it.
“This is unbelievable,” Brian Taylor said as Henderson kicked the footy.
“The clock finally gets moving, but it was after 30 seconds should have been taken off the clock.”

The error didn’t end up costing the Hawks

Wow ... the only controversy here is the fact that a commentator, one that has played the game at the highest level no less, could actually be this stupid.

The game wasn't marred, there is no controversy, there was no error ... THE CLOCK STOPS WHEN THE BALL GOES OUT OF BOUNDS!!

Meh It was a snooze feat until the last quarter , the commentators put me to sleep . When the Hawks played the Bombers a couple of weeks ago it was like in the pre match they were wanting another line in the sand game . I personally understand and don't want the violence to come back but this modern version the AFL have inflicted on us has left the commentators with only crap to go nuts about . They are too insipid to actually give a serve to the AFL anyway.

Collingwood slump to 10-5 and you have supporters saying they have no interest in the season. Try supporting a team that made preliminary final one year and then being 4-9 the next. Would take 10-5 any day of the week. Collingwood are in a form slump no doubt but are still in a great position.

Stephenson is almost as dangerous as JDG up forward. Allows JDG to go into the middle more to. I reckon unless he dominates the finals he’ll be off Buckley’s Christmas card list.

So Sydney did a Melbourne this week, dominated but not on the scoreboard especially when they had the momentum in the last and wasted it. Also copped the rough end of the umpiring.

So Brisbane will get the win over gws in Sydney. Makes me feel less bad about last week. They have some serious talent.
