The line says +6.5/-6.5 what's that mean? Can someone explain the line for me? I want to learn about betting and start betting.
He110 mate.

So it says next to Adelaide that the line is +6.5. That means Adelaide have to lose by less than 6.5 points or win the match.

It says -6.5 next to Hawthorn. That means that the Hawks have to win by more than 6.5 pts.

Thanks bud ain't bad for a Syd :thumbsu:

I gone $225 on this multi here but regretting a bit going so early esp on the Gold coast game ? Have feeling it could kill my multi

-9.5 Gold Coast (Killed them last time with ablett playing avg. game for his standards, bulldogs played well against cats but it was in the rain kept game close, this game again in QLD with good warm weather)
-13.5 Eagles (Play well against Brisbane, and well its Brisbane they're playing)
-11.5 Port (Richmond have good record against them, but hoping Port bounce back)

thinking about going the dogs with the sportsbet special. suns would surely have to be a bit mentally fatigued after 2 big games over Pies and Cats and without their injuries i don't know if i see this as GC +20 (which is one way to look at the sportsbet special). thoughts?

100% agree.

Couldn't back the Suns after the grueling month they've had - don't forget the week before they travelled to Perth (longest trip in footy).

If the Dogs started Jack Macrae last week they could have pulled off an upset? What the **** was that from McCartney??? Continues to show us all what a shit coach he is.

Considering getting on West Coast, every time I bet against my own team it seems to backfire but I don't know how they aren't shorter. They can't beat top 8 teams but have been shown to be flat track bullies. Lions will be without Redden and Rockliff, I just can't see how they can win this so backing West Coast +20 seems like a great bet to me.

I think West Coast might just be about bet of the round now especially with that special.

Big Fozza and banana_bus the only thing that worries me is they have lost 6 games this year by more than 20 points and one of them was to GC earlier in the season. Im not going to underestimate Rischitelli, Stanley, Prestia, Swallow, Bennell, J.Martin, Harbrow, Lynch, Day, May, R.Thompson ect will wait tonsee the news on Dixon and MCkenzie

port adelaide third quarter line only (-3.5) vs richmond. Easy money

Nice bet, usually when those morons like to give up. Where can you find this?

Can't argue with this either. Don't rate WCE at all but they are usually quite good at the Gabba and (as I ranted last week) Brisbane are no good*

*yes I'm aware Richmond struggled to beat them, I don't care, they're still shit, and so are Stainmond.

hey mate, do you mean WBD?

No they are seperate. WCE bet of the week with special.

WBD have lost 6 over 20 points this year IIRC and one was to the GC. I still rate the GC list without Gazza however id wait to see if they take a 4-5 man hit from their best lineup on the weekend.

Didnt notice that this game is Cazaly Stadium, Cairns though.

Each week I tell myself to stay away from Lions games as it's generally a losing bet no matter what side I take.

That said, Eagles do look a good bet this week with the sportsbet offer. But I'll have the Brisbane ML and 40+ in a few small multi's for shits and giggles, just in case.

Early Bets:

AFL
1U – Western Bulldogs +11.5 @ $1.91
3U – Carlton +37.5/+38.5 @ $1.91
1.25U – Melbourne Demons +37.5 @ $1.91
2U - Hawthorn -4.5 @ $1.92

Really like Saints at the line (+60.5). North are the kind of team to beat the Hawks one week and lose to the Saints the next.

Just heads up it has been revealed Jack Stevens for the Saints will be out injured for 4 weeks.
Saints haven't score 100pts or more yet this season, if it's a tight and low scoring game Steven is a big out for them.

Will be interesting to see how Petrie goes at the tribunial tonight.

I don't think you'll beat them by more than 60 points.
