A couple of modified home guernseys for charity but apart from that, looks pretty straight forward. North Melbourne and St Kilda should, but won't wear their heritage guernseys

Can anyone explain to me why Freo (even when their home jumper had red and green) have to wear a clash jumper against West Coast but Richmond don’t (considering these teams basically share a colour)?

Unpopular opinion - Richmond need a white or grey clash jumper for this matchup.

The AFL allows traditional clubs Carlton, Essendon and Richmond to avoid wearing their clash strip whenever they feel like it.

Can anyone explain to me why Freo (even when their home jumper had red and green) have to wear a clash jumper against West Coast but Richmond don’t (considering these teams basically share a colour)?

Unpopular opinion - Richmond need a white or grey clash jumper for this matchup.

I'd assume they'd have too much yellow in the clash, so the home/white shorts is the optimal solution. I disagree about a white or grey clash, rather go a full black kit, as black and royal blue doesn't clash.

This is where it gets tricky though cause last night a full black kit would’ve been fine but if that game was played in the afternoon sun, black and royal blue would clash, especially with the eagles having a light colour on their jumper but the tigers wearing the light shorts.

That's when clubs start being smarter rather than playing to traditions. WC in Peril/Blue shorts and R in full black

I agree that’d look great but it shouldn’t be up to west coast to wear their clash at home because Richmond refuse to have an adequate clash jumper in their set.

We’ve already had West Coast wearing white at home against Richmond back in the day for this exact reason

Freo doesn't seem interested in wearing purple jumper with white shorts, it goes for all purple or all white. So you probably could get away with home jumper and white shorts against us, but I'm guessing you choose not to.

(And in the green and red days you had an away jumper)

The strange thing is, we’ve started wearing the purple jumper/white shorts combo but only in games where it makes no real sense (away v Collingwood last year or away v gws)
