We're carrying too many players who just aren't good enough.
Varcoe.Great player,but finished now.
Mayne.Trier,but way too slow for today's A.F.L football.
Thomas.Too vanila.
Crocker.V.F.L player who should never play A.F.L football.
Brown.Too small,no impact.
Daicos.Ditto.
Phillips.Acummulator who can not win a one on one contest and has no physicality.
Cox.Despite his size,has no impact in the air whatsoever.

All these players should have a line drawn through them.

Our players are injured

It’s predominantly this. No question. No team on the AFL could succeed with our injuries. Lions have basically an injury free list and look what’s happened to them.
