hmmmmmm
such a big issue these days, unfortunately.
i don't want to see the rushed behind rule changed. i want to see a reason for change before i see rules change.
not an increase of .4 rushed deliberate rushed behinds per game in a year!
too many mistakes have been made, what with hands in the back, the interchange rule, etc. in the past. they need to wait for a real issue for once, before they consider a rule change. and then, it should be done through the NAB Cup
everything else...i'm pretty much happy with at the moment

AFL need to get their priorities right.

How about changing the fact that defenders can't even touch forwards anymore in an uncontested mark without an umpire giving away a free?

Or the fact that you can knee someone and climb up their back to take a mark, but you can't even as much as touch a thread on their shirt with your hand before the whistle blows.

I agree with paulvroc, sure some teams have exploited rushed behinds this year, but I'm sick of this knee jerk reaction problem the AFL's rules are subject to. Remember the interchange rule this year? *knee jerk*

haha, exactly right.
tradition is getting kicked out of the game, seriously.
i didn't want to get all passionate about the rules of the game like i have in the past, but i think i might.
demetriou and his pack of idiots on the 'Rules Committee' need to really see what they're doing to the game. they need to take back all the crap they've instated, and resign.
disband the committee, get rid of the ridiculous restrictions in marking contests, and let AFL football be AFL football again, not some gaelic brand that they saw and decided our sport might be better as

Free kick for misconduct
Proposal discussed: introduce a ‘misconduct’ free kick for incidents such as squirting the contents of drink bottles in the face of opponents, throwing objects during play (e.g. mud, mouth guards, other players boots) and/or for unnecessarily interfering with an opponent (e.g. pulling opposition player’s shorts down). At present a player can be reported for misconduct but a free kick cannot be awarded.

Is this a joke or what?

There will be nothing to change soon.
Leave the bloody game alone.
Or get someone who will use a broom and start sweeping.

Keep Diggin.

Has the Afl published the results of this survey?
Or am I delussional in thinking that they might share with us the results of their pathetic excuse for an attempt at public consultation.

does anyone know?
