This Thread is dedicated to those short animations that play on the scoreboard after a team has scored a goal, i am looking to see different teams scoreboard Goal animations throughout history, if you have footage of one, post it here.

North used to have a Sakata one and this thread has bought the nostalgia of the sakata theme back into my mind.

So it seems away teams at the mcg are getting their own animations played as well as the home team's. This hasn't happened since 2017. Yet generic animations used at interstate grounds for away goals. Wonder why they're playing both teams animations at the mcg exclusively.

Finals are usually hosted by the AFL instead of clubs

Hence why the sponsor stuff after it is Chemist Wearhouse and Toyota instead of the clubs own.

This probably explains why there were Lions animations all around the MCG the last few weeks
