Stkilda +40 would probably be about the worst thing you could possibly take value wise this week. There is so much better around, taking $1.40 is suicide. They fell in against Melbourne last week on the back of BEAU WILKES (oh dear) kicking five. Highly unlikely that will happen again this week ...or ever again. Their Mid's have been well down all year, you can obviously leave Hayes out of that but Montagna & NDS have been very ordinary. I just don't see how they match it with Geelong's midfield, in fact I don't see how they can match it with Geelong anywhere.

It has been proven time and time again that Kossie doesn't step up when Riewoldt is gone, not to mention Geelong's big Forwards in Hawkins, Pods & Walker. I just see no way that StKilda can stop them, in particular Hawkins who is tearing teams apart at the moment. Who goes to him? Gwilt? Puhhlease. This is not as a Geelong fan, this is as a fan of common sense. I think you could find a better 1.40 chance in every other game this week. Also strongly disagree with Port +37.5. A team striving to finish Top 5 Vs Basketcase playing under a coach they know won't be there next year? No thanks.

we have a horrible record at AAMI, i don't think that is a bad bet. I'll be staying well clear of stkilda though

Can you explain the StKilda +40?
This is the write up from our website
"Nick Riewoldt is a big loss for the Saints, but it may actually make their forward line less predictable and harder for Geelong to match up on.
The last two times Geelong and St Kilda have met on a Friday night the games have been decided by four points and one point respectively. And I think this will be another close game, as St.Kilda play Etihad Stadium very well, where as Geelong seem to struggle at the venue.
This is a do or die clash for the Saints, if they lose they are all but out of the race for 8th spot. So I think they will come out firing and make it a very competitive game.
Best Bet: St.Kilda +40 @ $1.30"

I'm not sure about the unpredictable part, they just plonk Wilkes in Riewoldt's spot and carry on as usual. It's also a very important game for Geelong, no one wants to go to Perth the first week of the finals to play the Eagles and we are a couple of % behind North. I think they will be pushing hard...

I stand by my point that there is far better chances at $1.40 this weekend, but good luck:thumbsu:

That's alright, we understand there will be differing point of views but that is just what makes it that little bit more exciting.
Also good luck to you on your betting endeavors this w/e.

Still cant decide on my tip for this round in the Last Man Standing Comp on Sportingbet. Only 27 people left in the comp!

All week I have been thinking of picking Melb at -33.5. But do I really want to invest a possible $50k on a shit team like Melbourne?

I think tonight's game will be a lot closer than most people think. Saints will need to hit Geelong with everything to have a chance of winning. Can the Cats back up after a tough loss in Perth last week?

Or should I just go with the game with the smallest llne this round (Blues/Bombers) and hope for the best?

Now matter what game I choose from it will be another 2 stressful hours coming up this weekend. :(
