Today was about 11.20 - 11.30am.

I fired up sessions at different times. The best one was 11:40 on the dot. Stopped at ~1500 in the queue. Any earlier went through and needed to be restarted.

I need tickets tomorrow for my wife and will probably be trying a little earlier.

I logged on at like 12.30 and was able to within ten minutes or so. I’m more interested in the Collingwood - Brisbane game so I bet I have zero luck tomorrow…

Strange experience today.

Was testing the queue out from about 11am, on phone and desktop.

Obviously got kicked out number of times and had to start again.

After maybe 2 times being kicked out of mobile, it said whatever it does after you’ve progressed past the queue - your turn is coming up, or similar.

This was well before the 12pm open. Refreshed a number of times, closed and reopened…landed on the same page.

Come 12pm I was worried I was down to desktop only, but my phone came through well before it. Just suddenly refreshed and I was in.

Ended up getting 4 tickets on 2A row A. Couldn’t believe it.

My only gripe is having to sit on lvl 4 as a gold member as my kids are only silver.
Sensible decision though from afl for a change to favour gold and split on sale times of both games

Silver had to pay 99 or 148

Interesting how much the wait for gold has blown out. I signed up in 07 and we got to Gold in 19. I don't think a 12 year wait is too bad but it sounds like it's getting a bit crazy now.

That seems odd to me. I signed up end of the 2008 season and got Gold upgrade mid 2018.

That seems odd to me. I signed up end of the 2008 season and got Gold upgrade mid 2018.

I signed up 2008 and had Gold halfway through 2016... and cancelled the membership then (no longer in VIC)

Crazy how different it is now but also recall 2013 GF and Freo fans being given allocation in AFL Members in standing room... my then gold member friend was ropable. The writing was on the wall how the league was diluting the section.

It strange how so many of us around the same time vary. I technically got offered the upgrade in mid-late 2017 actually, but didn’t take it as Collingwood weren’t in contention that year. So I had no interest in going to the Grand Final that year.

I’m just thankful I’m Gold now as I got to be there in person in 2023.
