And this is on a supposed (cough) non biased sporting organisation news feed. Seriously??

IF the umpires' department is to be truly honest about Thursday night's match

THEN... it will admit the Hawks got some very nice, dodgy frees

Well I suggest we get together and return few shots of our own. I'll start.

IF the AFL was honest they would admit that the quality of Umpiring has been well below par and the constant rule changes such as the deliberate rule makes a mockery of the game

THEN modern day football would be a much better spectacle.

I don't believe it's the first time Barrett has inferred that the umpires favour us.

I couldn't believe some of Thursday's decisions, and we did land some close to goal, but we were not given a ride.
Both coaches said intheir post match press conferences that they were confused by some decisions.

The AFL website consistently uses inflammatory language in their articles and it's not limited to Hawthorn.
Prior to our game against the swans this year the prematch banner was a pic of the swans with the caption will they choke again.
Every time a coach or player makes a comment they are always filthy or fuming.
It's cesspool journalism and as such Barrett is in his element, it's all about creating drama, as others have said the AFL don't run or advertise the sport as a competition but as entertainment.
They've gone all reality TV with just about everything they do.
Don't get sucked in, don't get upset, don't think they actually really put more effort into Hawthorn, they are just campaigners in general.

and ridiculous Rioli's mark was overruled after initially being paid. If it wasn't a mark, it was a free kick to Port for hands on the shoulder.

Rioli didn't hit the post and also slammed in the middle of the back by Karakor after he dropped the mark of the year. The 50 against Cyril was rubbish, the homeless Hobo held on to Chip in the goal square before he kicked the goal.
Charlie 'faux tough guy' Dixon free in the last should have been reversed as you cannot clap the umpires for been condescending!
