Interesting results. WA fans Obviously give the thumbs up to Optus. Haven't been there yet but hope to for our Eagles game in round 16.

My personal experience of AO is coloured by a bad experience at the QF last year. Probably more the AFL's management of Seat allocations. We were an aisle near the fence on the wing to low for me. Add to that tiny numbers meant most of the seats in the Aisle were sold to Crows fans so Giants supporters weren't even in a group.
Then the rain meant getting wet in the open. With the crowded ground people blocked the pathways and it was impossible to move.

For round 1 the Crows allocated us a small aisle halfway up in the Riverbank stand and this worked much better.

I really liked the G and attended both our Tigers games. The infrastructure to provide easy comfortable access and movement with a crowd of over 90k for the PF was impressive. No other ground I have been to including ANZ for the 2016 PF comes close.

I am disappointed Spotless has dropped down the list, but I guess the difference is small. Maybe our crowds are simply spoiled. Trecking to the SCG for our away Sydney game should be enough though. Ease of access and facilities between the two doesn't paint the SCG in a good light. Only the history is in its favour.

I suspect part of our lower rank, and part of some other higher ranks is atmosphere, something we genuinely lack in parts of the ground at a lot of games.

On reflection I think it's a lot more to do with the fact the surveys are chosen at random between home and opposition fans. I've had a few and they do seem random. We would get a higher percentage of opposition fans than most. Swans fans for example often prefer the SCG to Spotless although I see no rational reason to do so.

Blundstone gets a poor rating. It's a great little ground in my experience, but also has a higher mix of team support than most.

Not sure either way tbh, I do the odd club survey relating to a specific game, but generally they (The AFL Fan Focus ones) are more global and tend to be not specific to home or away game status

I've never had a club one. I got one for Hobart, specific to the game and have had one or two for Spotless. Unless they were ckub surveys, have to check.

Given Docklands Stadium gets blasted over the tiniest shit, it's amazing nobody kicks up a stick here about 90% of the good seats at the MCG not being available to club members.
It is Victorian heresy punishable by exile to speak ill of the MCG

Docklands could be better managed on match days as I've stated previously on another thread. The MCG meanwhile is the benchmark for match day management but the seating arrangements for AFL members should be like ANZ stadium does for it's members area when demand is not that high for an event

Wtf is That stupid arbor around Optus stadium. That and the art needs to be pushed into the river. Absolute poo. Couple of bronze statues would have give the entrance soul

I was at the optus stadium for the last game and I was pretty disappointed for their management:thumbsdown:. This was my first visit and for their mismanagement I may not go there anymore, instead of being there, I'll watch on TV.

No surprises that Perth Stadium is number one. Good capacity, good atmosphere, good viewing, good facilities, convenient facilities and great outlook but it is easy to find fault with it. The transport situation is convoluted, seating can be hard to find, moving between levels is convoluted and has puny escalators instead of exit ramps.
I like Docklands stadium. It has good capacity, good viewing, good facilities, convenient entry, excellent exit and is cheap. Unfortunately the interior lacks atmosphere worsened by the small crowds and has no outlook what-so-ever.
When they 'update' Docklands they should work on that.
I like the SCG, but only because it is the home of the Swans. Quite a wish-mash of stands now.
What were they thinking with that latest stand - absolutely bizarre.
With all the stadiums in Sydney there isn't one decent one.
