Hilarious! APS draftees are over a thousand.
Xavier leads with 134 drafted, of which 110 have played AFL including L Ball, J Watson, L O'Sullivan, A Schauble, A Leoncelli, T Richards, J Kennedy, R Tarrant etc etc etc....

APS has 4-6 selected every year and is the most prolific competition (after the TAC cup which was built to groom AFL footballers) to have players drafted. This year it will likely be 10+

There would be borderline 1000 players drafted total and the APS has over 1000? The draft has only been around for like 25 years, the first few years it was only a couple of players per team. Even now you only get about 60 players drafted per draft. Funny that APS has had basically every pick.

On a side note, Wesley College over in Perth hasn't done badly, Buddy Franklin, Ben Cousins, Michael Gardiner, David Myers, Jarrad Scofield, Scott Stevens, Ricky Mott and Phil Read amongst others.

Of these boys Gilchrist, Nash, Strauss, Lisle, Hannebery, Watts and Cordy have all gone to their schools since yr 7. Apart from haileybury boys, only ziebell and sibasado are on scholarships

And of the haileybury boys all have been there since yr 7 or the latest yr 9, but all on scholarships

sorry but i finished a few years ago and am not familiar with the current young guns.. but still alot of these players have been picked from other schools and found from other places and what not...

(that I know of) BTW that's 2 premierships, 1 brownlow, 1 coleman, 1 MVP, 7 AA, 6 B&F

Also there are about a billion players from Aquinas and a lot from Trinity too
