Cheers mate. I'll everyone to just list their players from Richmond and Hawthorn to be selected the extended squad by the bounce tonight as there's no guarantee everyone will have a decent bench.

Here's the current ladder heading into the last game:

Victoria Metro definitely in the box seat to win coming up against the Allies but a win from Victoria Country against WA could also secure them the title. WA need to win and hope Allies can knock off Vic Metro. 'Mathematically' every side can still win.

Allies Preliminary Selection

Hawthorn: Luke Breust, Isaac Smith
Richmond: Jack Riewoldt, Daniel Rioli

Vic Metro (Subject to change)

B: Jayden Short - Dylan Grimes - Bachar Houli
HB: Tom Phillips - Adam Tomlinson - Nick Vlastuin
C: Josh Kelly - Callan Ward - Luke Shuey
HF: Tim Taranto - Sam Weideman** - Kane Lambert
F: Christian Petracca - Jack Gunston - Josh Caddy
R/R: Max Gawn - Trent Cotchin - Josh Kennedy

INT: Jordan De Goey - Angus Brayshaw - Sam Frost

I have included Sam Weideman as I have no other KPF players who were in my squad. If there is an issue with this let me know and De Goey can play and get 50% or I can throw Frost/Tomlinson forward - unless Cam Pedersen is named I don't see any other KPFs being named

I'll take Josh Caddy as a hardship KPF over Weideman.

Is Henderson likely to play? If not, Nick Haynes can be a hardship KPD. Adams, Whitfield, Deledio and Grigg are fine in the backline. Dusty, Parker, Dangerfield, Hopper would be fine as forwards.

Just noticed you had Papley on the bench which isn't really fair considering he's a true forward and you've 4 midfielder-forwards. But you've also named Ed Curnow. So what I'll do is just have Papley in the 18 for Curnow.

A score update for you guys heading into the final game of the final round.

Here's the ladder pre-round:

550904_10f638ac668c017bc133ff89e0d03a5c.png

And the current scores, with players left to play underneath

Victoria Metro 1092 trail Allies 1176
Phillips, Shuey, De Goey vs Howe, W.Rioli

Victoria Country 1346 lead Western Australia 727
Adams, Sidebottom, Pendlebury (50%) vs Sheppard, Yeo, McGovern, Cripps, Darling, Kennedy, Ryan, Sheed

It looks fairly obvious one of the two Victoria sides will win at this point but which one is still yet to be decided. Metro need to make up 84 points against the Allies to get the win and will need to win by a decent margin to overturn Country's percentage gap.

The Country-WA game is a real wildcard, with a 619 point gap but Country having just 2.5 scores to come compared to WA's 8. Could come down to who wins, as all of Country's players are Pies and all of WA's are Eagles. Country will want to win by a decent margin to accentuate that percentage gap.

Very exciting stuff, and we could end up with all 5 teams finishing on 2 wins and 2 losses.
