The Port Adelaide Football Club have today confirmed the largest trade of the trade period so far. Geelong recruits Matthew McCarthy and Tom Harley have taken Adam Kingsley and Gavin Wanganeen with them to Brisbane. In return Brisbane have sent
Crows centre half back Ken McGregor, along with Shane Morrison, Jason Gram and Blake Caracella to the Power. As part of this deal, Port Adelaide have upgraded their draft pick from 40 to 38.

Due to a board meeting tomorrow night, the Power will conclude their trading around 4pm. At this stage, there are no trades being negotiated.

Timeline
Trading period ends tonight at 9pm AEDT. All lists must be emailed to Rizzo no later than 12 noon on Thursday. Anyone failing to do so will have a $400,000 fine imposed, which will be included in the salary cap and may result in some players being forced to enter the pre season draft. The National Draft will be held over this weekend. Times will be announced shortly. The Rookie and Pre-season drafts will be held on January 2-4.

The AFL advises clubs that they should not confuse "****" with "homosexual antisemetic pricks"

· All selections are final, so don’t go “ actually cancel that ill take cooney”

· The draft works like a real draft so you can ask for extra time
· All picks will be done via msn at the allotted time. (its better then saying you have 24hrs to take a pick)
