AFC DRAFT PRESS RELEASE
The Adelaide Football Club would like to Welcome there two newest players to the Football Club.
With pick 27 being used to pick Harry Miller an...
With pick 28 the Adelaide Football Club picked up Adam Campball.

Gary O'Hanlon (AFC CEO) said he was very happy to pick up these young boys, Gary also stated he did not expect these boys to play A.F.L football next year saying if they played it would be a bonus an would show that they have been working very hard.

In another problem Gary lashed out at the A.F.L after pick 35 went West Coast way after the AFC had told teh A.F.L that West Coast did no longer have that picked after it was traded to the Adelaide Football Club for Brett Rutten.
Gary also stated he wants answer from the A.F.L after he had written two letters saying that they owned the pick. He belives that the A.F.L should be posting every so often answering everyone problems to make sure the league is run well.
P.S the Adelaide Football Club looks forward to hearing from the A.F.L Thankyou

Cheers

The Port Adelaide Football Club drafted Kepler Bradley, Billy Morrison, Jay Nash, Eddie Sansbury and Jacob Surjan at the National Draft. In the rookie draft, Salim Hassan was picked up after a brilliant performance in pre-season training while Setanta O'Hailpin was recruited from Ireland in a bid to link the Port Adelaide Football Club more closely with the Irish people. Wade Champion was redrafted as a rookie as promised at the time of his delisting.

Josh Carr has been confirmed as captain for 2004, with Tarkyn Lockyer as vice captain. The leadership qualities demonstrated by Stephen Salopek have been rewarded with his appointment as deputy vice captain, along with Dean Brogan.

All players will make the AFL-funded World Tour. Injuries permitting, all players will get a game at some point on the tour, with all 4 leaders to be given an opportunity to lead the side at some point.

Mark Williams has resigned as head coach after a dispute with the board. Alistair Clarkson replaces him in the top job. Andrew Jarman, Darel Hart and Phillip Walsh will be the assistants. All four have been appointed in full time roles.
