AFL the PS2 games

I was looking at buying some of the early ones second hand, mainly AFL Live 2004 & AFL Live Premiership Edition released in 2003 & 2004.

What are people's thoughts on these two titles and what are the game modes and differences?

You don't constantly get mowed down from behind, so if your into fast pace footy and constantly playing on its worth it IMO.

Premiership Edition was great, was probably the best of the IR Gurus games. They just went downhill after that. The mini games in it are a lot of fun too, I would've played Around the World hundreds of times.

I did have 04 on PC, so kind of remember it.

I did love the custom mission mode.

Premiership edition was great, it was basically 04 with some camera and bug fixes. I didn't mind 06 and 07, the career mode was decent on these games.
