Perhaps not a definitive list.
That blogger seems to think that Tuck was better than Bunton, Skilton and Reynolds and perhaps a touch of SA bias in the list; Robran (5), Ebert (7), McIntosh (16) and Aish (17).
Robran and Ebert deserve their places in anyone's best 25 player lists. McIntosh doesn't deserve a place in anyone's top 1000 players. Aish was a highly skilful player but because of his size (or lack thereof) he was the archetypal outside receiver.

I think it is a bit different. We're going, shit I hope it isn't me. You guys are going, shit I hope our punishment isn't bad and I hope this is more widespread.
I don't "hope" it's more widespread. But it sounds like it is.

I still hold out hope Essendon aren't necessarily in trouble FWIW. Dang the Dang though

It's federal law enforcement, so I think we can expect that 90% of the hyperbolic stuff they are alleging will turn out to be unsupported by any evidence.

(Anyone remember Mr Haneef and his SIM card?)

They are talking about coercive hearings, which IIRC means that they can gather intel but can't actually use it as direct evidence against anyone.

I'm actually more concerned about match fixing than the drugs angle. I would hate to think that any AFL matches (outside the bottom 4...) have been tainted by gambling.

Maybe time for the AFL to sever its close ties with betting agencies...

I did warn you.
Only one club being investigated at present (hello Dons). They will be absolutely torched.
More will follow, to be sure.

I'm comfy, but admittedly that is only on the basis of Richmond contacts.

I think we all have the ashen Essendon expression right now.
Na.
the barrister seemed to think it was. Who knows.
Players not knowing will probably be taken into account.

Confusion over who hands out the penalties... AFL does it and ASADA can appeal it if they're not happy.

I reckon this is more of a bravado stance more than anything.

1 - Recreational drug use has been a big issue over the last 12 months and recently players using loop holes to prevent sanction
2 - A club under investigation for administration of substances questionable under the code
3 - European football with a massive issue on match fixing and corruption
4 - Cricket with a history of match fixing
5 - Tanking, which at its basic form is match fixing
6 - Some club officials leaking information or indeed placing bets on the outcome of games (first goal, match outcome, etc).

Those 6 plus more are the reason for this. It's like the Purana task force set up over a decade ago as a warning shot to gangland violence as a response to the murders and whatnot.

This is bravado.

If they were serious on this issue, they'd shut down betting on sport as a start. But they won't do that because of the profits they make from gambling.

no. He clarified that. He said in his opinion it was grounds for exoneration. KB asked the question you've posed and he said that wasn't the case.

1. Essendon used the colostrum, as part of protein shake.
a)Totally legal, with regards to drugs in sport.
b)Can cause, hormone levels to elevate to a level that may indicate PEDs.
c)There is potential that Dank imported them illegally.
i)He may have illegally imported them for Essendon.
ii)He may have been under police investigation for importing it illegally, prior to working for Essendon, unbeknownst to Essendon or previous employer, who obviously gave a good referral.
iii) He may have done it all legally, but police are investigating due to an alarm being raised by someone.

!
So, you have come out all guns blazing, which is fair enough, slamming people for making schit up, which, again, is fair enough, but then, from one of your fellow supporters:

My knowledge as posted earlier is that the colostrum was injected. Any reading will tell you it's borderline. Not banned but can elevate levels above legal. The procurement is the serious issue here.
So, one of you is making schit up, yours sounds the most likely to be incorrect.

Probably worth having a think about, if you got that wrong, is anything you posted actually true, or is it like the other posters you slammed, but from the other side of the fence.

It will be interesting to see what happens, but it seems we won't get any actual details out of this presser.
