I reckon this is more of a bravado stance more than anything.

1 - Recreational drug use has been a big issue over the last 12 months and recently players using loop holes to prevent sanction
2 - A club under investigation for administration of substances questionable under the code
3 - European football with a massive issue on match fixing and corruption
4 - Cricket with a history of match fixing
5 - Tanking, which at its basic form is match fixing
6 - Some club officials leaking information or indeed placing bets on the outcome of games (first goal, match outcome, etc)
7 - Lance Armstrong and the whole of cycling

never did. Read my posts. You'll find nothing of the sort.
Utter garbage.... Do you hear yourself speak? You've been attempting to play this whole scenario down ever since the original press conference. Looks like your club is going to be made an example of. I won't say too much given that Collingwood probably won't be immune but it looks like your club is at least one of the clubs that may have had an "entire team" doping.

I did warn you.
Only one club being investigated at present (hello Dons). They will be absolutely torched.
More will follow, to be sure.

I'm comfy, but admittedly that is only on the basis of Richmond contacts.

You'd have to be delusional to feel comfortable at this stage.

Some of these journos are absolute buffoons...

Senator: "We are looking at one instance of match fixing"
Journo: "Can you confirm that match fixing has taken place?"

It depends what they mean by "links to teams".

I think none of us are naive to think every individual player at our clubs are 100% squeaky clean, but one guy stuffing up is very different from an entrenched team culture of doping/drugs.

People here hyperventilating a bit too much.

If 'supplement' use goes across the whole league, then the perception will be that this is a grey area which has been exploited by everyone. At most, it'll lead to reform of the rules re anything beyond food and water going into footy players.

If we're talking banned performance enhancing drugs, then it will affect specific players/clubs but I can't imagine it affects the whole league. Armstrong couldn't keep it quiet in a team of a few guys, it would be impossible to keep hundreds and hundreds of footy players quiet.

Yeah but with the forms that the players signed there's evidence that they weren't stupid, or ignorant but were deceived. It's a really important issue imo
That's not evidence that they were deceived. Maybe denk went to players and said "this is dodgy, but if you sign these forms, we can pretend you didn't know".

Again, doping agencies don't care. They hear all the excuses. Remember warne was given a tablet by his mum. So what?
