Cheers mate.

This refers to a single company entity being tarnished in the media and makes no mention of administering anything.

Did Essendon have a contract with "The Rejuvination Clinc, Bondi Junction"?

My guess is this is irrelevant to the "Essendon plus one player" situation.

Just on the tv deal and there having to be 9 games a week etc. it's most likely the AFL will get their money regardless, if US tv deals are anything to go by.

The NHL for example would have got its tv money even if its whole season is locked out.

Could be different here, but we don't know for sure what the tv contract says.

He spoke the truth as he saw it, just happened that it wasn't the truth. His lack of understanding on what had gone on added unwarranted fuel to the fire.
Reimers would have a better understanding than the Essendon supporters who are still trying to put out the fire and save their brand using spin. You should be disgusted that your club's checks and balances failed to pick up what was going on. That's what the board, footy department and coaches are responsible for. Hird said at the press conference that he is responsible for what happened. No ifs or buts about it.

Knowing the AFL, they'll probably to hit you with the wet lettuce leaf, but they have to respect ASADA and WADA who have the power to ban athletes. The big picture demands it if they've unwittingly being taking PIED. The AFL didn't spare the Carlton players another five years at the bottom because the former President, CEO and board were paying some of their teammates outside of the cap.

Let's push all our differences aside here & think about this.
Should Essendon be found guilty of all this, it somehow doesn't sit right with me that someone of James Hird's character would be punished.
He has given his all to be one of Essendon's greatest ever players. As far as I'm concerned, that MUST count for something.

This bloke shouldn't be pushed away from football should all this become the worse case scenario for Essendon.

Something just wouldn't be right.
There is no way that James Hird would have taken the coaching job at Essendon to knowingly get involved in this type doping.
No way.
He should definitely be given the chance to continue coaching this team.

Reimers testimony is the least of our concerns. He didn't have a clue what was going on. Him saying what they were taking was "right on the edge" could easily mean he was told they were using cutting edge techniques. He wouldn't be able to confidently testify to anything.

All that is of concern is what substances Dank is being investigated over, if they are banned substances and if they were used at Essendon.
On face value I would say it is quite the opposite

Spike was real flog for making personal insults and giving the lame Vitamin C excuse but it appears that Reimers testimony whist not articulate would seem to sugest that the players new something that was not quite right.

And if that is the case

Why didn't they also ask qustions to the

1. The Senior Coaching Staff
2. There Managers
3. The Players Association
4. The Medicos

Past character doesn't really mean anything. If Hird was aware of it, he of course has to go. If he wasn't, it comes down to how much input and oversight he had into what was happening with the fitness staff. The thing that needs to come out of this, at least to Ess members is what kind of checks and balances were in place and how they were breached
