Does anyone have footage of Scott McLaren 'Pushing' Shane O'bree?

What is the rule on AFL Umpires getting involved with players?

If players are not aloud to touch umpires, it must be a 2 way street.
Umpires cannot be held sacrosanct if they are giving out that kind of treatment to players.

From what I have herd, Scott McLaren should be penalised for making contact with a player, during a dispute. Heath Shaw was outed for 1 week, why does the same penalty not apply to Scott McLaren?

Can you not suspend him from umpiring for a week?

Look at the main thread. Agreed although the McLaren one is nothing compared to deliberately pushing an umpire.

I don't see any other thread. :boggled: However, i think this rule with touching umpires is an absolute joke. Can't the AFL see there's something wrong here. And it can be fixed with a little bit of common sense.

They almost had a case except for the bit where O'Bree didn't seem to know what they were talking about - you'd think Eddie would have worded him up first to build a case!!!
