Better than we could have surely hoped for pre-season. Even better that we did it at home. Media has brushed off our wins as 'catching Geelong off-guard' because apparently they were unaware for the preceding months the season would resume again at that specific moment and place. And also as relying on poor umpiring decisions to beat Melbourne- yawn.

When rebuilding you actually ideally want these types of results - beat the good sides and show what you can do on your day and then narrowly lose to the shite sides (givez them a points boost to get above you, but allows you to say 'what if').

Of course, the best part remains that at year 2 of rebuild 1.0, we are closer to a flag than the 0-7 Blues in year 20 of rebuild 3.0.
