Is it just me or is it getting worse, as in loading etc? I've got 1500/256 speed but the AFL site loads as slow as my commodore 64 did back in 1984. Frogger loaded quicker!

I didn't mind it last year. Although i can see why some people complained about it because it was pretty complicated, but I didn't think it was too bad. A lot better than this year.

Try it on a Mac... then it truly sucks arse. I'm on cable (Optus so I can't watch the video either) and it takes an eon to load. Worse still is the Richmond site, which changed to the new flash-heavy template today. There are script errors on every page and in most cases they stop the content from loading. I can't see who plays for the club now.

F**king sucks. Hate AFL and Telstra for this.

it is crap!! it's freaking slow, the ads are the first to load up, contents slowly loads up after.
Not to mention the club website too, the carlton website is just as bad!

I'n on cable with Bigpond & it takes 5 - 10 minutes to load, I'm going to ring Bigpond & blast them & ask them WTF it takes so long. Every other site I visit, loads quickly.

It is one of the ugliest and slowest loading websites around. There is so much crap on it to load and it's really not nice to look at and find things on! Total sh*t! Plus, I cant get the Game Day Scoreboard to load up with Thunderbird, even though it worked the other day. I have to use crappy Internet Explorer! Every year this site gets worse and worse!

I dunno but it happens every year. They do it at the last possible minute however everyone else manages to put it up weeks before.

Totally agree, its at least 50% slower then last year

You should try it overseas even on a fast link! 2-3 minutes to bring up the front page then forget trying to get the current scores through gameday live. It is the biggest load of crap, all I want is the teams on a thursday and the scores during the weekend and the updated ladder.

At least now the front page ladder shows % which is the only "improvement"

I wish they would have this basic info on a non flash page to start up with then have an option to enter the site proper to see all the bogpond ads along with all the stupid flash programming that grinds it to a halt. I'm sure its done this way to stop people using add block software which worked like a treat last year. I will never buy a Toyota or never use Bogpond because of this

The statistics page is blank, except for the advertisements of course.

"Read mm.afl.com.au ...." for minutes and then "Done" but still no content.

Its not that frickin' hard! This is beyond pathetic.
