Young's first ever votes (which surprises me).
Brayshaw's vote slump has coincided with Freo's form slump, which is cause and which is effect?

Lobb more votes this season than the previous 3 combined. Also votes in more games than the previous 3 combined. Well done on getting us better draft picks Rory. But cue the stories of how much better Lobb is in 2023 when he is at a Victorian club.
4 players with votes in 7+ games. Last year 3 for the season. 2020 1 but ~4 with 6 votes over the shorter season. 2019 3. 2016-18 1 or 2.

I was running on the treadmill last night and got to thinking that I don't remember the AFLCA votes dropping from last weekend. Am I going crazy?
If it's a close race they don't release the last couple of weeks to build suspense.

I think this correct, sorry if I've stuffed ya table up Nothing

Terrific finish to the season for Serong, Young surely stiffed over the year only getting votes in 1 game...

Looks right to me.
Final game individual votes:
10 Sean Darcy (FRE)
8 Tom Barrass (WCE)
6 Caleb Serong (FRE)
2 Jordan Clark (FRE)
2 Liam Duggan (WCE)
1 Blake Acres (FRE)
1 Alex Pearce (FRE)

9 Caleb Serong (FRE)
5 Will Brodie (FRE)
5 Sam Taylor (GWS)
3 Michael Walters (FRE)
3 David Mundy (FRE)
2 Jacob Hopper (GWS)
2 Andrew Brayshaw (FRE)
1 Jordan Clark (FRE)

Our 3 players over 30 combined for 16 votes - 2016 they polled 42 combined, every year since it has been at least 98. Definitely a changing of the guard.
23 vote getters in a year the best on my records (since 2016).
Excluding Fyfe, Brayshaw's year of 74 is better than everyone else since 2010 (Sandi on 75). Lachie who?
Total votes of 397, almost 100 clear of our next best year (301 in 2019 with Fyfe in Brownlow form).

was good to see Andy get a couple in the last round.

Still think Longmuir stiffed him by not throwing him a 1 or 2 in some of the weeks where he had to fight a heavy tag but still racked up 22+ and a bunch of marks and tackles. If a tagger can earn votes for shutting down an elite mid, surely the mid can earn votes for putting in a decent if not quite elite performance whilst effectively keeping the tagger out of the game.

Wonder if Mundy only having 2 coaches votes prior to R23 played a role in him retiring.

Am already going through Mundy withdrawl symptoms and its only the bye week.
Wow long long bow, as I have said elsewhere the time is perfect and can’t wait to see Erasmus and Johnson fighting for the vacancy. It also allows Fyfe more time in the guts if required without getting too slow.

Looks like Fagan didn’t give any votes to Richmond players. What a flog.
Wut? There is no way you can know that, what's with the judgement based off nothing? That's sad man. You're wrong anyway, Lynch and Nank both got 1 vote, ergo Fagan had to have given a Richmond player a vote.

I think they nailed it. Maybe Andy could squeeze in ahead of Cox or Macrae but the top 3 were pretty clear cut for mine.
I was surprised Ryan got votes too tbh. Good game but also two really bad ootf. Young was definitely the better out of those two. So clean and set up goals as well as intercepting and rebounding.
