UQ 4ths had a good come from behind win against the Redcliffe Tigers today. Couldn't hit the lead until the last quarter in absolute shocking ground conditions. The 16 point win was the biggest margin in the game I do believe.

Bit of controversy in the Seniors game, so I think its best if I just keep my mouth shut until AFLQ makes a ruling.

Tremendous thanks to Redcliffe for the games today. Nothing wrong with a bit of fire and the rough stuff. Look forward to the return match at St Lucia.

I was there Kedron were fantastic they have some great kids playing and should be a credit to all concerned at Kedron Well Done boys.


What about the Vass brother on the hill i'd like to stick that horn fair up his ass, I walked past him when he was driving yes driving back around and he had either consumed 48 stubbies or 1000 cones he was ripped.

Logan controlled their fair share of the ball. Score board certainly doesn't reflect how hard fought the game was

From my understanding (which is dodgey at best). During the senior game a Redcliffe player got a red card for umpire abuse. Couple minutes later it was a good old fashion head count. Been a while since i've seen one of these, not enough of them if you ask me. Maybe we can have our finger nails and tags checked while they are at it. Anyhow Redcliffe was found to have 18 on the field (meant to be 1 down due to red card). Uni was awarded a Free kick and 50m penalty from the center square. Ruckman had to take the kick.

Caloundra had a good win on the weekend, halfway point of the season, the flag could go anywhere. (Miss you Harlett did you play in the last few losses)

i am of the understanding that if u have a man sent off and then have 18 on the field ure score should go back to 0 from what it was at that point of the game and u start from scratch for the remainder of the game!!!!! is there any truth in this?? and also i have heard from a pretty reliable source it will be a 5 team finals series in div 2 this year !!

Can't say i know the rules that well. I'm guessing thats what RoaringUniLions is talking about with the league investigating.
Umpires took down the scores, Redcliffe did kick 1 goal after the red card and before the umpires were told and the head count happened. Happened just before half time. Don't think scores changed between head count and halftime.

I guess we'll have to watch sporting pulse to see if the scores change.

Any Redcliffe guys on here know whats happening? Don't want this to be too one sided.

Heard from a spectator at the kedron/Logan ressies game that a free kick was awarded due to abuse from the sidelines (ie a supporter) ...Is that right?...Starting to think the umpires are getting a little precious nowdays especially after it was be nice to umpire's day the week before...Just imagine the MCG on gameday, the whistle would never stop

To clarify the issue with why the score didn't go back to 0.0 after the head count, there is an issue that between the send off and the head count, a goal was scored, thus the points couldn't be removed at that time.

However according to the umpires and rules and regulations, the clubs involve can record details down and lodge with the league.

MaXius, at a game recently at St Lucia I was umpire escort, and was asked to warn the spectators about their abuse being directed their way. I thought at that was weird, but a free kick?!
