First up, with the introduction of the Tasmanian AFL team in 2028, I'm likely to increase AFLTM senior list sizes to 44 per team, staggered over two off-seasons (26/27 and 27/28). This means senior lists will increase to 42 for the next off-season and then 44 for the following. With this will also come an increase to the total player payments allowed.

Any thoughts of increasing the number of scoring players in matches from 18 to 20-22 by introducing a bench or 2-4 players?

I'm open to it, biggest negative I can see though is that some teams are struggling to field a full team as it is. The introduction of byes when Tasmania enter the competition also won't help.
The increase in senior list size does help though.
