There's also a difference in our situation and Adelaide's.

We burn a top 3 pick and we're hamstrung because we really need that top to bottom infusion of talent.

Going to Adelaide, Chloe will be - well, not gravy but it's a calculated risk. They're taking pick 6 instead and have a better baseline of ability on the list. They've got more fallback options if it blows up, similar to Cowcher being tipped to the Lions.

Easier for a team like the crows who play regular finals and have been a constant premiership threat to take that calculated risk with Bown. Compared to us who are a regular bottom 4 team.

If the club knew the tigers target would be Wolmarans it probably would have put more effort to get the suns pick 1.
It's also a tad funny that all phantoms couldn't even get pick 1 right.

Have to say I don't quite get the Scarlett hype yet. The highlight reels are a bunch of uncontested marks, which is great, I mean there are still AFLW players out there dropping them, but thought that would be more of a baseline at this point. Hope she proves me wrong!
