I traded out Strom after singing her praises preseason, saying and I quote "I'm backing her for a blazer this season".

If this season has taught me anything (and it has, lots, thanks to you folk!) it's that while I might know a fair bit about the W, I know jack shit about how to play fantasy. Slowly bridging the gap, but a bloody long way to go.

Maybe a touch too early! Per Sarah Black on Twitter: "The AFL is set to appeal the Eilish Sheerin Tribunal decision, which saw the Tiger's intentional umpire contact charge downgraded to careless (and a fine instead of suspension). Case expected to be held tomorrow afternoon/night"

I'm weighing up Sheerin > Gay & Hodder > Randall v Sheerin > Newman & Hodder > Moloney.

Devastating news for her. I've swapped her for Maddi Gay.

Given the timing and next season starting earlier, she'll probably miss at least the beginning of next year as well. Interesting to see if there's anything to the trade rumours. I'd certainly be happy to take her even if she's going to miss the entirety of next season.

Gay seems a solid option. Unfortunately, I max out at $725K for a repalcement, unless I redo my other trades.

Haven't heard any rumours, but she is an excellent kick. Every time I've watched her play, I keep thinking, why don't they pass to her more often. She's the one you want to have the ball. She's also been excellent when in the midfield and can tackle.

Definitely one worth considering. She put up a 75 against St Kilda last year. My main worry is she won't see enough of the ball.

Yeah does seem to be the issue with her. Worst scores against Dogs & Suns.

Supposedly the commentators were talking about trade rumours during one of the games and mentioned D'Arcy and Rowbottom. Don't know if there's any truth to it. Could just be managers angling for better contracts. Would be an absolute disaster for the club (and not good for the comp either).

I agree with your other comments. Joyce messed up waiting too long to put her in the midfield. Her class is the perfect compliment to the players they already have in there.

It's mostly just Sydney fans and commentators dreaming.

I'd back it to all go down very similar to West Coast last year when the talk of Roberts and Thomas looking around came up. There's no way they let either go, they'll offer them the world.
