Happy February Hawkers!

As we inch closer to the return of footy a competition that we do not yet have a team in kicks off tomorrow with the return of AFLW

For those interested in the game or just interested in a competition and prizes Big Footy is running a site wide tipping competition.

The winner gets a shiny new badge and years Platinum membership to the site.

Bigfooty Tipping AFLW

This comp is being run on the BigFooty servers so no links out to another site you have to register on.

For those that don't know what Platinum gives you have a look here https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades

There is a dedicated Board for AFLW which you can find here - https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/forums/womens-footy-aflw.352/

Round 1 is in the books
Cats v Pies 24 - 23
Crows v Dogs 17 - 18
Roos v Blues 52 - 16
Dees v Dockers 55 - 59
Lions v Giants 29 - 27

Other than the Roos v Blues the games were close

Must suck being a Blues supporter at the moment

What's the go with the conferences? Can someone explain? It seems to me that teams are playing across conferences anyway so I don't quite understand.
Yeah, the AFL doesn't quite get conferences either, but the U.S. do it, so it's obviously the future of our sport.

Round 2 done and dusted
Giants v Roos 23-48
Pies v Dees 9-26
Dogs v Cats 34-16
Blues v Crows 44-57
Dockers v Lions 67-40

Roos, Dogs and Dockers look to be the teams to beat, who knew the AFLW team for Freo could end up being higher scoring than their men's team. Ross better watch out, or take notes or something
