That's a big improvement, but at the bottom end, IMO it's almost exactly 6.5x less the pay for 3-5x less work (though the AFL claims it to be parity on a pro-rata basis, the fact is the women play 7 or 8 games to the full extent their bodies let them in the allotted time). At the top end, it's not going to reach parity any time soon, but I believe that is partially reflected of a serious issue with price/wage inflation within elite sport globally.

You only need to look at cinema tickets lately to see what happens if you keep asking for a bigger percentage than typical rates of inflation.

(Written) Interview with Harford.

The turning point of Carlton’s season was likely the moment captain Brianna Davey went down with an ACL tear during the Round 2 win over GWS.

The Blues would go on to lose their five remaining games as injuries piled up and the club struggled to find any sort of momentum.
Thankfully, Davey seems as though she’ll be ready to go for the 2019 season.

it's a disgrace this thread is in the blue room given similar support as those on dead actors, weather and the moronic four word stories or whatever that post-grub thing is - sticky it if you have to but I am not going to post in here because no-one will see the article

Prespakis equal average clearances as Erin Phillips.

Vescio with the equal most score assists.

Downie with the most hitouts to advantage.

Harris with the most contested marks on average (higher because she missed a game)

Harrington third highest average intercept marks.

Two records equalled:

Downie with 10 ballup hitouts to advantage

Harris with 4 behinds...
