I think womens sport is at the stage where growth across all codes will be seen as good. More eyes... will flow on. They can compete for market share later. The market isnt established enough. Build then fight for share imo.

Maybe I'm an idiot though .-.

Well, the news is finally out that Fev has joined the Tigers AFLW program. Katie Sheahan had let me know it was coming when I saw her at the Sheahan holiday house at Sorrento over the summer.

First thought I am gutted at a Blues icon going to another club. Doubly so that it is the Tiges - I grew up hating them in the 60s and 70s and some things never fade.

But more than anything else if Fev had an interest why weren't the Blues all over it and making it happen at the true home of footy (let alone AFLW) Princes Park.

What an indictement on the powers that be at Ikon Park!
