Feels wrong how easily some of the ridiculously good players (or anyone, but in this context) can go down cos of an injury, especially in what looks like an innocuous action.

The frequency of serious knee injuries is obviously one of the major issues facing the AFLW moving forward. The more research that can be carried out into prevention in this area, the better.
Terrible outcome for Phillips. Great reception given the circumstances. Carlton girls showing that sportswomenship is still alive and well.

Given where we were 12 months ago, good to see some improvement in our team. Especially when you consider both Geelong and North Melbourne being new entrants into the competition
A better quarter. Kept it tighter. I would like us to abandon the zone to see if it changed the flow. Crows are kicking between the lines and over our heads.
