What would they be worth?

I’d suggest Zoe Prowse would be worth 2 first round picks.
Hatchard a first and a second round pick
Boileau would be worth a late first round pick.

Are they the only 3 we are expected to lose?

Stevie Lee Thompson, Rachel Martin, Abbie Ballard have retired or delisted. This year looks like a massive changing of the guard with the girls program.

Agree with this. Hatchard IMO, as much as I would definitely consider trading her, has superstar status so would command pick 1 from a bottom team like Gold Coast

We could walk away with 4 or 5 first round picks this year. Plus our own pick.

This issue is, is the draft fully open now or do they still nominate a state, what good is the number 1 pick if they are Victorian and and can leave the next year and go to North?

It's on us to convince them to stay. Other non Vic clubs have gotten the number 1 pick and gotten them to stay

It’s a fully open draft now. We can pick from everywhere.

Trading Hatchard is a terrible move IMO. She underperformed this year, but not beyond the reach of proper management and coaching.

This smells of the Nicks'esque odour of a coach seeking to be judged against the low standards of a "rebuild", rather than one ready to rise to the challenge of getting a squad of players performing at their best.

Crows current hand (including returns for Prowse/Boileau after GWS pick swap) is what Gold
Coast will take for 2025 P1. GC want picks around 14-20 and then early second to match all academy picks. Hatchard will be for next years future 1st + some. Local SA talent for next years draft will set the Crows up for another extended period if they can position themselves to get early picks. Take Hatchard at peak value now.

Looks like Richmond have got pick 1 off GC.
"The deal sees the Tigers land picks 1 and 56 this year as well as a future third-round pick, while the Suns will get picks 4 and 22 in return."
They also plan to trade out pick 4 anyway... so pick 4 is probably the best the Crows can do, but I think this means we hold Hatchard to contract.

Yeah little bit flat with the outcome TBH.

I wouldn't expect them to finish terribly high next year but still.

Bit sad about this news, because she's been a club favourite for years and especially when pick 1 was off the table. Probably rated as our 2nd best player by the comp itself and 3rd best based on internal BnF, but probably our 5th most important player. Noffy, Randall, Biddell, Gould all ahead, and if talking positions, EJ is ahead as the better forward.

Hatchy would've been one of the Crows higher paid players as well right? Gold Coast are also not going to be any good any time soon. Other than change of scenery since Crows aren't a premiership threat anymore, I don't see why she would move.

Like many slightly disappointed with that trade,but maybe can only hope maybe with the Hatchard money available that they have a player trade in mind .
Preferably a KPP or ruck to cover Hatchard and Prowse and cover our weaknesses.

there have been no reports, so I assumed that money was going internally to keep someone? She would've been top tier though (along with Noffy and Randall). Maybe Biddell or Gould getting a pay rise?
