It’s their away jumper
Yes but it's still of interest because the men's side will be wearing the bounding roo this year as their away jumper rather than the jumper the women were wearing last night.

Have you had a change of heart on putting the Women's on Footyjumpers?
It's not a change of heart, it's a change of planning.
I've always only planned on having the Home jumpers, similar to the WAFL section.
The thing with having them in the Club section where they were initially was it encouraged people to write to me about one-off jumpers and Clash jumpers, which I won't be including.
The WAFL section is on a banner across the top of each page.
When there were one hundred pages this wasn't a problem, I just copied and pasted the html code into each.
Now, there's 4800.
Also, I have a plan to upgrade the site to WordPress, which would mean these Headings would be built into each page.
However, this requires re-creating all 4800 pages, so that's a while off.
Meanwhile, new designs are released, so I am keeping up.
With North, I don't know which is the Home uniform, it appears to be a Tassie uniform, but they play quite a few Home games there.

The pages for each are at:

I'm not sure what's worse, the fact they have these in the first place or that they're the exact same design?

Or is this a terrible tie-in to Captain Marvel, hence the identical design?

Yep, it was for a Captain Marvel promotion. There is a double-header next week at Marvel Stadium (Coll-North and WB-Melb). All four clubs were meant to wear these jumpers during their matches. It was revealed a few months ago alongside the artwork for the North jumper, but there was a fair bit of backlash and the idea was canned.

Cotton On must have already started production on the retail versions and now they have to try and flog them off without them actually being worn on the field.

Thanks for jogging my memory. I remember the North one now, and assumed that because the whole idea was scrapped that the other jumpers would have been as well.

Cotton On doing their best to flog them off too: full photoshoot wearing the jumpers on Marvel Stadium with the Dogs and Pies captains. Interestignly, the Pies retail has the club logo in the front sponsors position, but the jumper Chiocci's wearing has the Optus logo (which only appeared a short time before the opening match). Maybe they are going to be worn?

It's easy to tell on that Pies guernsey that they've shopped out the club logo (dunno why, it still exists on the home/away) and shopped in the Optus logo (which appears larger than the actual heat-pressed version they've been using).

Geez they've done a good job of it. Only noticed after you pointed it out and after zooming right in on the logo

One more thing. I have no idea how any designer could've thought this looked okay. I think every team has one... they're funny.

That's Cotton On for you. Trendy. Modern. Apparently it looks good

The Cats AFL team are slowly starting to head down the Cotton On path (modern and trendy) with our merchandise after two years of good merchandise. Slightly disappointing, because the 2017 and 2018 stuff was pretty good, but some facets of the 2019 merch are average. I think we'll end up resigning with Cotton On at the end of this year, but I wouldn't mind us switching to a sports brand (even back to ISC) rather than a fashion label
