Shoutout to Gold Coast local and our currently inactive listed player Maddison Levi for a dominance performance on the opening day of the Comm Games competition. She scored five tries yesterday and is really starting flex her muscles on the world rugby stage. Hard to believe she's still just 20 years of age! Teagan also played yesterday but is coming off the bench and seems to be more on the fringe.

Jaq Yorston doing an Insta Q and A…

No mention of Cam Joyce.. maybe they didn’t have a good relationship which is why she left?

Well done to Gold Coast locals and still Suns listed players Maddison Levi (bottom right) and Teagan Levi (far left) on claiming Commonwealth Games gold medals this morning with a 22 - 12 victory over Fiji. Maddi was prolific with 10 tries scored for the tournament. Well done girls and we all hope you eventually return to play for our AFLW team once you've fulfilled your rugby ambitions.

It might have been 6am on the Gold Coast, but the champagne was already popping at the Levi household.

"It's never too early to start drinking when your two daughters win Commonwealth Games gold," Maddi Levi said, after she and sister Teagan helped Australia's women win the rugby sevens gold medal.

"I'm sure [mum will] be on it all day, celebrating."

The Levis spoke with their family back home after the dominant 22-12 victory over Fiji at Coventry Stadium.

"They definitely had tears but lots of swearing!" Levi said.

"We got to stand next to each other [on the dais] so it's pretty sentimental. We've achieved a Commonwealth Games medal, not many people can do that in their lives, let alone have their sister side by side."

They had plenty of ball just not as clean as the Geelong girls.. I wouldn’t be too worried at this stage just need to clean up disposals and not panic with ball in hand, defence was a lot better in the second half
I watched only half of 3rd quarter and despite the score they seemed to be in control.
